Graduating & Wine Tasting

Hello friends! It has been awhile since I’ve posted and I am sorry!

If you have been wondering what I have been up to lately, it’s school!
I will be graduating in June and as a graduation gift to myself I have booked a 15 day trip to Europe! I can hardly wait to try all of the fabulous Italian wines. I will be staying in Florence and Rome while in Italy and would love any recommendations of wineries in the area. Cheers!

  1. Good luck with your exams 🙂

When you are in Rome I recommend to visit Casale del Giglio in Lazio. They produce some outstanding wines like Mater Matuta. Definitely worth a visit.

When you are in Florence then you can visit tons of wineries in Chianti or you could take a drive to Montepulciano, Montecucco and Montalcino or any of the other important Tuscan wine towns. The choices in Tuscany are endless 🙂 Monteraponi (Chianti), Loacker Corte Pavone & Poggio di Sotto (Montalcino), Agricola San Felice (produces wine from the ancient Pugnitello grape in collaboration with the University of Florence), Poliziano & Cavalierino (Montepulciano) Colle Massari (Montecucco)

    Cheers and enjoy your travels!
